The European Mechanics of Materials Conferences (EMMC) is a series of biyearly meetings organized under the auspices of the European Mechanics Society, Euromech, that has taken place during the last 25 years in cities as Nantes, Brussels, Gothenburg, etc. The 17th edition, EMMC17, will be held in Madrid from 27th to 29th May 2020. The Technical University of Madrid (UPM) and IMDEA-Materials Institute will organize the conference and the venue will be located in the Civil Engineering School of the UPM in Madrid downtown.
